On our way

We, my wife and I, are now on our way down to Skåne (the south part of Sweden) to see my grandparents. That will be great, especially since it been a long time since we last saw them.

Yesterday the Swedish parliament passed a new law, which gives women from countries outside Sweden (especially from countries with more harsh laws than in Sweden) the right to come here and make an abortion.

The "abortion-question" complicated and it has been in the media-stream the last couple of weeks. There was a documentary about abortion, and in an interview with this girl, it was brought up that she did not feel as great as the doctors said she would after her abortion. She got depressed, could not go to work and so forth.

The thing in Sweden is that the doctors and the midwifes wont say anything about the complications after an abortion. They seem to deny it, or pretend they do not exist. This could be really devastating for the women having the abortion, because the professionals around are denying the feelings they actually have.

Just to put an end on this discussion in this blog, the head of the Midwife-organization in Sweden recently said, that the biggest problem in the abortion-question is that there are women around the world that do not get the possibility to have an abortion.
